Ok just got back home from the Gym, I feel great but on the way home I was reminded of a conversation I had with a dietitian years ago when I had asked him about supplements and vitamins, he explained to me that a person could very easily over dose on vitamins or even drink so much water that you do your self harm, his point was everything in moderation, LOL, even though I know this I seem to always have to relearn this through painful reminders from my body!! Example Garlic!!! When I found out how good garlic was for you even though all the articles I read said to start slow I ignored them and from the start tried to eat an entire clove a day!!!! Bad idea lol that ended in me not being able to sleep one Friday night and painful gas for nearly a day!!!!! Well lets just say I did it again, LOL this time with lemon water, So I typically put lemon in my water early in the morning, I even cut up the peels and pulp, and add them to my water!!! That by itself is not the problem the problem is that for nearly a week that's all was drinking, period. No straight clean water just lemon water!!!! Lets not forget that lemons are highly acidic, so over time the acidic mixture left my lips dry and my throat dry and raw. I knew something was really wrong when I was eating one of my favorite spicy dishes that my mouth and throat were in such pain that I couldn't enjoy it!!! On top of that the rawness of my throat and nasal passages caused my allergies to go into over drive!!! I'm happy to say that changing back to a shot a lemon water in the morning and clean water the rest of the day has me back to normal!!!! So in closing remember that even good things when over done can be a bad thing!!!!
